The inter-VM clipboard shortcuts (Ctrl+Shift+C, Ctrl+Shift+V) don't actually perform a copy or paste directly; they copy from the clipboard of the source VM and paste to the clipboard of the destination VM.
It should be safe to remove USB devices after detaching them from an AppVM.
Remember, the template VM needs to be shut down before the others can be updated. Then each VM will be updated after it has been restarted.
See Firefox. Probably safer to install add-ons separately per VM as needed. Might want to install some in the disposable VM template.
The first yum update of the template VM worked, but the next day it failed (so did install of some new packages):
Error: Package: qubes-gui-vm-2.1.26-1.fc20.x86_64 (qubes-vm-r2-current) Requires: pulseaudio = 4.0 Removing: pulseaudio-4.0-9.gitf81e3.fc20.x86_64 (@updates) pulseaudio = 4.0-9.gitf81e3.fc20 Updated By: pulseaudio-5.0-7.fc20.x86_64 (updates) pulseaudio = 5.0-7.fc20 Available: pulseaudio-4.0-8.gitf81e3.fc20.x86_64 (fedora) pulseaudio = 4.0-8.gitf81e3.fc20
The GUI updater runs for a long time without providing any progress; it's unclear if it's actually working.
The command-line updater is also hanging quite a while without providing a progress indication.
Fonts on some websites look bad. This is probably an issue from Fedora.
